Frame Your Design Challenge
What is this?
Design projects are commonly focused on addressing a specific challenge or question. This process will help you frame a challenge that’s not so narrow that you can’t generate multiple solutions or so broad that the work is ambiguous.
When should I use this?
When someone articulates a pain point and asks for your help to understand it.

Good researchers know that a well-crafted question can serve as an important focusing agent for a project. It can also provide your team with a simple statement to refer to throughout the project. For instance, you might start off with a challenge like, “How might we increase the number of low-income students taking AP exams?” and refine it to be, “How might we make taking AP classes a goal for all students from an early age?”
