What is this?
A storyboard is a low-fidelity prototype. It’s a visual representation of how your policy or service will play out to help you think through key moments. 

When should I use this?
If you’re looking for an easy way to prototype your policy or service idea, creating a storyboard is a good place to start. You just need paper, markers, and Post-its to get started.

You don’t need to be an artist to create a storyboard; the important part is defining how a policy will play out once it’s put in place. The act of storyboarding will force you to envision the people, places, and key moments in policy implementation, which will help you to anticipate challenges. A complete storyboard is also a fantastic tool to communicate your idea to colleagues, funders, or intended beneficiaries of the policy.
